What does "azjure" mean?

azjure means "boundless blue sky", and was inspired by the beautiful skies here.

What do the breakfast provisions contain?

Continental Breakfast provisions for each morning of your stay are included in your rate.  The other breakfast provisions are at an additional cost.   All breakfasts are generous and should satisfy the most hungry of guests.

The Continental Breakfast contains fresh country bread, croissants, cereals, orange juice, locally-made jam, butter and condiments.

The Hearty Breakfast contains sausages, bacon, eggs (free range), tomatoes and condiments.

Is azjure close to the wineries?

Absolutely - there is one right next door, three more within walking distance, and several others within a few minutes drive.

How will you confirm my reservation?

We confirm all reservations by email on the day we receive the deposit.

Can my reservation remain a surprise to my partner?

Certainly. Many guests here surprise their partners for a special occasion or celebration. We need to be made aware of where to discreetly send confirmations. You may also like us to order flowers to be in your spa studio upon arrival for that special surprise.

How much deposit is required?

We require 50% deposit via Visa or Mastercard at time of booking.

What is your cancellation policy?

All payments are non-refundable. You may transfer your reservation within a 6 month period from the date of cancellation provided that you cancel more than 14 days in advance of your arrival.

Can I pay for a gift voucher for someone else?

We can send a gift voucher to any person you designate. They cost no more than the charges on the Rates and Packages pages. We require payment in full before we issue gift vouchers.

What size is the spa and bed?

The spa is large and allows two adults to recline with ease and comfort. The bed is king-size.

Are there laundry facilities?

Each studio has its own individual laundry complete with washing machine, sink, clothes rack, iron and ironing board.

How serious are you about non-smoking inside?

Very. We have provided facilities for smokers on the patio outside of each studio. Should prospective guests wish to smoke inside, azjure is not suitable for them.  Our Terms and Conditions on check in state that guests who do smoke inside will be charged a $150 cleaning fee.

What should we bring with us?

You may wish to bring your favourite DVDs and CDs or you can use your mp3 player to make the best use of the stereo system.  azjure has its own complimentary DVD, relaxation CD, books and games libraries which are available to all guests without charge.

Should you wish to self-cater, we recommend you bring all your food with you. There is a Woolworths supermarket on the main road heading into Stanthorpe and a Super IGA in Davadi Street, Stanthorpe.

Where can I go for meals?

There are cafés and restaurants in Ballandean just 2 to 5 minutes down the road from azjure or in Stanthorpe 10 minutes away. Please check with us for opening times. We are happy to make reservations for you.

For those times you would rather stay in we have an exclusive range of pre-prepared meals from a fine Ballandean restaurant. Simply heat up and they are ready to eat.

Do you cater for children and pets?

azjure has been set up with high quality equipment and furnishings to accommodate just one couple in each studio. Thus the property is unsuitable for children. However, babies in portacots are welcome.

Because of the constant presence of native wildlife at azjure, the property is not suitable for family pets.
