azjure won the Deluxe Accommodation category at the prestigious and highly competitive 2009 Queensland Tourism Awards, announced on November 13.  azjure came out ahead of large iconic properties such as Radisson Resort on the Gold Coast and Peppers Palm Bay in the Whitsundays.
